Missional Communities are the driver behind the way we do ministry at Missio. That being said, we want our MC’s to carry the DNA of Missio church. We see MC’s as being 5 to 7 families that meet a minimum of once a week. Typical MC activities include: spiritual formation, meals, serving, and outreach. These are groups of people that are committed to living out the gospel together and speaking love and truth to one another. Our MC’s are “open chair” which means that they are never closed off to new people who may or may not know Jesus. We believe that one of the greatest ways we can reach lost people is in a gospel-centered community setting that is open to unbelievers. If groups grow to a size beyond what can be facilitated in homes, we will multiply new groups out of existing ones.
If you would like to join one of our Missional Communities, you are welcome to do so. Even if you are unsure what it's all about, you can come and experience what it's like to be part of a missional community at Missio. Drop us an email and we will connect you with a missional community leader closest to your location.
We believe that people were created to live in community with one another, and that the gospel is best lived out with others.
